Our Older Puppy School 4-6 months has been introduced to cater for dogs who may have missed out on baby puppy school. This behavioural training course sets up a strong foundation of learning to provide you with the necessary tools to tackle your juvenile four-legged friend.
There is no prerequisite for joining this class. If your puppy missed out on puppy pre-school, this class is for you. It is never too late to start training.
Course Information
- Suitable for dogs aged 4 months – 6 months old
- Four-week course (leading up to Christmas occasionally courses are condensed into 3 weeks with additional time given for play)
- Each class runs for 1 hour
- Foundation Learning – Creating focus and attention, marker signal
- Basic Obedience Skills – working with lures and fading them
- Commence Loose Lead walking – Introduction to Harmony Harness – Stop pulling
- Cover behavioural issues: Biting/Barking/jumping/digging/Toilet Training/Sleep settling
- Health and nutrition
- Social exposure to clinics and other dogs

**If you have an entire (not de-sexed) dog aged 6 months (See our rules) and wish to enrol in class, you MUST contact the office before booking.

***NOTE:
All pups MUST be on a lead when they come to class for safety purposes. We will fit suitable harnesses in the course to assist with walking.
