What led you to Positive Response:
I have always had a passion for animals, in particularly the behavioural aspects. I always knew one day I would work in the animal industry. In 2012 I adopted my own puppy and quickly understood the special bond we have with our four legged friends. After I graduated High School I then went on to study a Bachelor of Marine Biology in 2015; however I knew my real passion lay with dogs. I then began volunteering at the RSPCA and moved to study in the field of companion animals. I very quickly fell in love with expanding my knowledge, learning all I possibly could and working so closely with animals.
I was then offered a chance to complete my work place requirements here at Positive Response Dog Training as a student and without hesitation I jumped at the opportunity.
It didn’t take me long to realise this is what I had been looking for. A place to help people and make a difference in the community. A place where I can use my knowledge and experience to help others give their dogs a happy and healthy quality of life. My passion has only grown in my time being here and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
It is such a rewarding experience not only working here, but watching families form such an amazing bond with their dogs. I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding career and I am grateful to be spending that time here with Positive Response Dog Training.
